Refund & Cancellation Policy

We want MilHousing Playbook™ to be useful for every military family that tries it. This policy explains how subscriptions, cancellations, and refund requests are handled. Questions? Email fern.rootllc@gmail.com.

1. Cancelling your subscription

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your account settings or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future billing cycles immediately — you will not be charged again after the current period ends.

2. Access after cancellation

When you cancel, your Premium access remains active through the end of the billing period you already paid for. After that period ends, your account automatically reverts to the free tier and Premium-only features are deactivated.

3. Refund requests

Refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Common situations we will refund:

  • Duplicate charges or accidental purchases (please contact us within 14 days).
  • Charges made after a successful cancellation due to a billing error.
  • Material service outages that prevented you from using Premium features.

We generally do not issue refunds for partial subscription usage, change of mind after extended use, or for billing periods where Premium features were available and accessed.

4. How to request a refund

Email fern.rootllc@gmail.com from the account address with:

  • The date and amount of the charge.
  • A short description of the reason for the request.

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

5. Promotional codes & beta access

Promotional, beta, and complimentary access codes are non-refundable and have no cash value. If a paid subscription overlaps with a promotional code, the paid period is honored first.

6. Price changes

If we change Premium pricing, existing subscribers are notified in advance. You can cancel before the new price takes effect if you choose not to continue.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting support may result in account suspension while the dispute is reviewed.
